Dashi is the most common and essential soup stock for all Japanese cuisine!

It’s a perfect combo for any meat, fish, and veggie meals – and there is a variety of choices that you can use for Dashi.

In this recipe let me introduce the easiest way to make, by the simplest ingredients.

Okay, you might want more technical processes. I’d prep for an advanced recipe for those experts later, but let’s keep it easy. Life is long, you don’t have to rush.

As I mentioned there are a bunch of ingredients that fit Dashi. The reason why I recommend this recipe first is that almost all people will enjoy this simple recipe (allergy, vegan..)

Instructions

  1. Cut kombu pieces to fit into a container (Do NOT wash!)
  2. Pour drinking water
  3. Let it rest in a refrigerator
